Cheryl Receives OBA Award Of Excellence

On May 30, 2016, Cheryl Goldhart received the prestigious 2016 OBA Award for Excellence in Family Law in Memory of James G. McLeod.

Each year, the Award is given to a lawyer who has demonstrated: (a) exemplary teaching of family law and practice; (b) advancing the practice of alternative dispute resolution; (c) developing family law; and (d) leadership in the family law bar.

The event had one of the highest attendances since the Award’s inception, indicating how well respected Cheryl is in the family law bar.

Cheryl is honoured to have received the Award. She is thankful to all those who wrote letters of support in favour of her nomination, and to the many judges, lawyers and friends who attended the event to celebrate her achievements.
